Resilience of the network comes from decentralization - and that means individuals and teams running nodes distributed all over the world. A node on the blockchain (e.g. a validator) is basically a server either in the cloud or hosted in a datacenter that helps to keep the blockchain running.
Learn and build smart contracts or blockchains that deploy to and are secured by Polkadot.
The PBA is an intensive technical education course teaching the core concepts around blockchain and Polkadot, including economics, game theory, cryptography, blockchain, and building on Polkadot. It is part online (PBA-X) and part in-person. The next class will start in early 2025.
